My painting is that of an androgene who has pride inside, looking at a rainbow world through the window of their apartment in San Francisco. The colors are reflected back into the inside space and contain light, and love.

Fran Schiff originally hails from NYC. She is proud to be a Second Wave Feminist, And loved the scenes of the 70's, here and overseas especially in NY, Copenhagen and in London- loved and miss the womens festivals and bars and coffeehouses. We have been on lockdown, but we know who we are, we have layers and layers of colorful pride and a fair share of heartbreak and joy as well.
