At Openhouse, we do more than just find housing for LGBTQ+ seniors. Check out the impact we made in 2018 to 2019.
Openhouse enables San Francisco Bay Area LGBTQ+ seniors to overcome the unique challenges they face as they age by providing housing, direct services and community programs.
Words are not enough.
Similarly to LGBTQ+ allyship, Black allyship is not about words. Our role is to show that we support our Black community members and to demonstrate that Black Lives Matter with action.
Community Engagement
Creating opportunities with, and not just for LGBTQ+ seniors to build and reconnect with community in an intergenerational and aging-affirming space..
Training & Transformation
Changing aging services through our LGBTQ+ Aging Cultural Humility training program and organizational transformation programs.
Wellness Services
Focusing on spirit, mind and body wellness, these programs offer aging-affirming spaces with LGBTQ+older adults.
